New conservation project to benefit residents in five counties

    More than 1.5 million people living in 5 arid and semi-arid counties will soon benefit from a groundwater conservation project. The project is expected to not only provide water but also help combat perennial flooding which causes massive losses every time it rains.“The voice of nature”, the multi-million dollar project known as the Horn of Africa groundwater for resilience, will benefit residents of Garissa, Mandera, Wajir, Marsabit, and Turkana.
