The National Lands Commission (NLC) is sounding the alarm over the increasing sub-division of land, particularly in the areas that are agriculturally productive. Speaking during a stakeholder’s forum in Kisii County, NLC Chairperson Gershom Otachi said the rapid fragmentation of land is undermining farming sustainability. Leaders, and partners, including the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the European Union underscored the need for policy interventions.
