    The Ministry of Roads and Transport has unveiled a raft of new digital and infrastructure measures aimed at curbing the rising wave of road accidents, which have claimed 3,397 lives between January and September this year. Speaking at the second National Dialogue on Road Safety in Mombasa, Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir outlined recent achievements, including the creation of 47 County Transport and Safety Committees, mapping of high-risk corridors, and star-rating of 750 kilometers of roads to identify black spots.
