As the April 28 deadline for the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise approaches, Nyali parliamentary aspirant Said Abdalla has intensified grassroots campaigns to mobilise unregistered voters, especially youth and women. His efforts aim to support the IEBC ahead of the 2027 General Election, as the commission reports over 1.8 million new voters registered nationwide, including more than 41,000 in Mombasa. Abdalla has reached over 10,000 residents across Nyali’s five wards through door-to-door campaigns and youth volunteers. He is urging citizens to register and elect accountable leaders, stressing that higher voter turnout will influence development and governance beyond the next election.
