A section of leaders allied to the United Opposition is calling for a thorough investigation into the former cabinet minister Cyrus Jirongo’s death. Speaking during a condolence visit to the Jirongo family at their Nairobi residence, the leaders led by the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua ,Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa , said the information currently available to the public is insufficient, calling on those who were with Jirongo during his final moments to come forward and share their side of the story.
