Opposition rejects infrastructure fund bill over constitution, audit concerns

Even as Parliament approved the National Infrastructure Fund Bill, Members of the United Opposition have vowed to seek alternative means to block the controversial law, saying it's a path to looting public resources. The leaders also claim that there’s a plot to sneak in the Indian conglomerate the Adani Group, to take over the planned expansion of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, despite cancelation of the project proposal from Adani over a year ago.
