Jerry Orindo anasema aliamua kurejea katika shule yake ya msingi ya zamani ya St. Mercy baada ya kukosa kupata karo kumwezesha kujiunga na shule ya upili. Aidha mtahiniwa mwingine alilazimika kutembea umbali wa kilomita 600 kutoka kambi ya wakimbizi ya Kakuma eneo la Turkana hadi shule ya upili ya Kabianga huko Kericho kujiunga na kidato cha kwanza bila karo na mahitaji mengine ya shule.
