A total of 316 Kenyans have lost their lives while working in the Gulf States in the last one and half years. This is according to statistics released by Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi who appeared before the senate Wednesday morning.Mudavadi indicated that a total of 416,548 Kenyans work in the Gulf States with Saudi Arabia leading with 310,266 Kenyans. Saudi Arabia also has the highest number of Kenyans who have died while working in the country at 166 from the year 2022 to date. CS Mudavadi was also hard pressed to explain the safety of Kenyans in the Gulf from recruiting agencies to support by the embassies.
