Prime CS Mudavadi’s speech at the graduation ceremony of the PSC Emerging Leaders Programme

Nurture young leaders for public service succession, Mudavadi says

Prime Cabinet Secretary (PCS) Musalia Mudavadi has affirmed that promotions in the public service should be based on measured deliverable performance.

Mudavadi made the remarks even as he urged the youth to be transformative public service leaders, which is a product of hard work and to be agents of change.

“I believe that through nurture and hard work, public servants should be able to rise to the highest ranks. Promotion in the public service should, therefore, be based on measured deliverable performance, which is the product of hard work,” Mudavadi said.

He made the remarks during the graduation of the inaugural cohort as well as commissioning of the second group of Public Service Emerging Leaders Fellowship programme in a Nairobi hotel.

During the event, some 51 young people graduated and 65 others joined the programme.
