Police lob teargas to disperse TUK students during protest

There was a standoff outside the Ministry of Education offices in Nairobi, CBD, after police lobbed teargas to disperse Technical University of Kenya students who were protesting.The students were protesting against the closure of the university.The university was closed on February 3, 2025, following a lecturers strike.They had planned to present their grievances about reopening their institution, to the Ministry of Education offices.
