Police officer arrested after woman fatally shot during Raila Odinga's night vigil

A Police Officer has been arrested after fatally shooting a woman during a night vigil in honour of the late Raila Odinga in Homa Bay Town on Friday night. According to County Police Commander Lawrence Koklem, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. when officers tried to control a tense crowd near the police station. In the commotion, a stray bullet struck a woman who was passing by; she later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
