In what could be a major breakthrough in the fight against rampant mobile phone theft in the city, Police in Nairobi county have raided a shop selling the stolen phones along Munyu and Mfangano streets and arrested six suspects. According to the Nairobi County Regional Police Commander, George Seda mobile phones worth 3 million shillings and over 600,000 shillings in cash were also recovered from the suspects. The Nairobi County Regional Police Commander is now calling on whoever lost their mobile phones or any other electronic devices to visit the Central police station and identify the gadgets.
