President defends the digitization of government services

President William Ruto has defended the digitization of government services including the hotly contested e-procurement system saying it is the most effective way to curb rampant corruption and enhance integrity across government institutions. The Head of State was speaking during a fundraiser to support the construction of madrasas in Mandera County on Saturday evening.
