President Ruto dismisses claims of plot to rig 2027 polls

President William Ruto says the purge on the four IEBC commissioners will continue even as the opposition accuses him of plotting to rig the 2027 elections. Addressing a retreat for Kenya Kwanza national assembly members in Nairobi the president said four commissioner must be held to account for the role they played in an attempt to subvert the will of the electorate in the august general election. As Chemutai Goin reports, attention now shifts to two commissioners who are yet to pronounce themselves on their fate as the tribunal prepares to commence its sittings.
