President Ruto meets Nakuru leaders over priority projects amid withdrawal of Finance Bill

    President William Ruto on Tuesday hosted leaders from Nakuru County for a consultative meeting as he sought to reassure them of his support for key projects within the region. In a brief statement after the meeting, the head of state said he met with the leaders to agree on the priority projects in the county and align them with the new budget reality.The leaders led by Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika stated that they discussed key priority development programmes including the construction of Rironi-Mau Summit road, digital jobs, ICT hubs, and housing. Ruto said the Rironi-Mau summit road which will ease traffic between Nairobi and Western region, will be launched before end of the year.
