President William Ruto has met Members of the Siaya County Assembly at the Eldoret State Lodge in Uasin Gishu County, in talks aimed at aligning national and county development priorities. The delegation was led by Siaya County Assembly Speaker George Owino Okode. The meeting focused on harmonising development programmes with the county’s priorities and making strategic investments to unlock Siaya’s full economic and social potential. During the discussions, the President and the MCAs agreed on the need to accelerate ongoing projects while fast-tracking planned initiatives to ensure timely implementation.
