Protests in Busia as residents demand release of a fish businessman allegedly abducted by the police

Chaos were witnessed at the Busia Police Station after hundreds of businessmen stormed the station while protesting the disappearance of one of their colleagues, who is alleged to have gone missing in the hands of people suspected to be DCI officers. Ibrahim Mohammed, a middle-aged man, disappeared on Sunday night after being ordered to alight from a bus he was traveling in to Nairobi, at the Korinda police roadblock.
