State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Prof. Edward Kisiang’ani has defended the government`s move to award the My Gov newspaper tender notice to the Star newspaper. Kisiang’ani says the award of the tender was above aboard as due process was followed. The PS dismissed claims that there was no transparency in the process and that Star newspaper bugged the contract for being the lowest bidder.
