In a move aimed at empowering people living with disabilities economically, the National fund for the disabled of Kenya has donated various equipments including sewing machines, wheelchairs among others worth 12 million to the 375 persons with disabilities in Nairobi County. Speaking during the handover of the donation to beneficiaries, Nairobi Regional Commissioner Katee Mwanza called for their support to ensure they are self reliant.
