Refugees in Kakuma Camp Strike Over Food and Water Shortages Following USAID Cuts

Four refugees have been injured after being shot while participating in demonstrations at Kakuma refugee camp in Turkana. The refugees are complaining about the reduction in humanitarian aid. This challenge has been contributed to by the recent action by the united states government, a major funder of refugees, to withdraw its support.
