In a significant move aimed at revitalizing the education sector in the banditry North Rift region for the upcoming 2024 school calendar, the government has initiated an ambitious project to rehabilitate schools across the region. Interior cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki urged parents and guardians to keep their children in school as anyone involved in banditry will not be spared. The CS further assured that schools in bandit-prone areas will have teachers to take their children through the 2024 education calendar, with national police reservists deployed to enhance security in learning institutions
