Residents of Gathieko sub-location in Githunguri constituency Kiambu County have embarked on a cleanup exercise to clear roads and public places where bushes have overgrown. The residents say they decided to take up the exercise as opposed to waiting for the responsible parties to come in and do the work as a way of giving back to the community.
