Residents of Madogo in Tana river county have expressed concern about a local seasonal river, which has been swelling steadily due to ongoing rains, and affecting transport and other activities in the area. River Adele, which passes through Madogo trading centre, swelled, paralysing transport in the area for several hours on friday, forcing some locals to risk their lives as they tried to cross the raging waters, amid calls for local leaders to end their perennial promises and find a long lasting solution.
