Residents of the Ziwani area in Mombasa County are demanding an immediate remedy to the stagnation of rainwater at the famous Ziwani Lasco ground. The locals led by the Ziwani Community chairman Shabbir Nurdin lamented that the stagnant water has not only become a breeding ground for mosquitoes but also prevented the youth from sports because the water is contaminated by raw sewage.
