Public schools and youth particularly in rural areas of the country could soon receive a digital lifeline, following an announcement by global tech company Acer.The firm plans to support both educational tools and training programs, and is exploring affordability options with financial institutions as it re-enters the East African market. Speaking at a partners' forum in Nairobi, Acer’s Vice President Grigory Nizovsky said the company is ready to collaborate directly with schools, universities, and potentially the government to enhance digital access and equity in education.
