Ruto inaugurates National Intelligence Research University, urges Africa to lead on security

President William Ruto says Africa must take charge of its own security. The president emphasized the need to train intelligence officers locally, positioning Africa to tackle emerging security threats without relying on foreign assistance. Speaking at the inaugural National Intelligence and Research University (NIRU) ruto noted that solutions to Africa’s growing security challenges, from globalization to cross-border threats, must come from within the continent.
