Ruto signs KSh 5 trillion infrastructure fund law, JKIA expansion first project

The expansion of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport will be the first project funded by the national infrastructure fund, as President William Ruto committed Sh15b to Sh20b towards the multi-billion shillings project. Speaking when he signed the national infrastructure bill into law today, the president said this was not a trial-and-error plan, reiterating that the new law will give legal backing to the Sh5 trillion ambitious journey to make Kenya a first-world country.
