President William Ruto has stepped up his political campaign in Siaya, seeking support for his bid for a second term in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking at a rally in Bondo after handing over the Raila Odinga Mausoleum, Ruto said he was best placed to advance the aspirations and legacy of the late former prime minister.
The President also criticised the opposition, accusing it of lacking a clear agenda.
The sentiments were echoed by ODM Chairperson Gladys Wanga, who called on residents to register as voters and turn out to vote for President Ruto in 2027.
