Nine months after the government directed the Ministry of Lands to cancel the allocation of 30 acres of the Kenyatta University land to the World Health Organisation by the former regime, the decision has been revised. The Ministry of health in a statement says the allocation of the 30 acres and an additional 5 million dollars has been given to W.H.O to build a regional health emergency hub and training center. The public health principal secretary who held a meeting with W.H.O officials said the hub will mark a significant step in strengthening emergency response efforts for the country and Africa.
