One million shillings is up for grabs for Kenya’s best photographer and videographer as Safaricom launches the Capture the Good challenge at Kisumu High School. But beyond the cash prize, the initiative seeks something even more powerful — compelling human-interest stories of hope, resilience and positive change hidden within communities across the country. A total of 90 winners will be selected under the thematic pillars of health, education, environmental conservation and economic empowerment, with participants expected to tell impactful stories from across Kenya. At the same time, season five of Safaricom Chapa Dimba is also being launched today at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu, with the two Safaricom Initiatives aimed at nurturing and unlocking creative and sporting talent among the youth.
