Section of MPs question the safety conditions of Bunge Towers

A section of MPs and senators are questioning the safety conditions of Bunge Towers, calling for the postponement of its official opening. The multi-billion tower has been hit by controversies following the constant revision of its contract beyond the limit provided for by the Public Finance Management Act of 2012. The makers are now demanding for a certificate of completion from the contractor after it emerged that among other concerns, the lifts were not functioning.
