Several aides linked to Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya have been arrested on allegations of involvement in the destruction of property and torching of vehicles belonging to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC during the arrest of the Governor 2 weeks ago. It is alleged that the suspects hired groups of youths to attack and burn the EACC vehicles during a raid at Governor Natembeya’s residence in Trans Nzoia, where EACC officers had gone to conduct a search in connection with an ongoing corruption investigation involving the governor.
