Sifuna: Azimio senators are not against county gov’ts

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka says the National Assembly did the right thing in passing the national dialogue committee report. He was speaking at a burial ceremony in Katangi ,Yatta Sub county in Machakos attended by several political leaders. Azimio leaders who were present, threatened to shoot down the Affordable Housing Bill on grounds that it is adding to the economic burden of Kenyans. ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna refuted claims that senators allied to the Azimio La Umoja coalition are a hindrance to devolution. Sifuna challenged governors to lobby their senators to support bills which will better serve the interests of Kenyans and ensure more resource allocation to counties.
