Six killed, over 2,000 animals stolen in Turkana bandit attack

We begin the bulletin with killings in Turkana...tension remains high in Kakong’u village, Turkana South constituency, following a deadly raid by armed bandits that left six people dead, two others injured, and more than 2,000 livestock driven away. The attack comes just days after a similar incident in Kapelbok village, also in Turkana South, where bandits made off with over 1,000 cattle and killed one person. Authorities say a multi-agency security team has been deployed to the region and is actively pursuing the attackers as efforts intensify to restore calm and recover the stolen livestock.
