Suna West Member of Parliament, Peter Masara, has faulted the court order that declared the National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) is unconstitutional. The fund Act 2015 was declared unconstitutional by the High Court through Justices Kanyi Kimondo, Mugure Thande, and Roselyne Aburili ,stating that its projects, programmes, and activities shall cease to operate come June 30, 2026.Speaking during the educational stakeholders meeting that was graced by school principals, KUPPET and KNUT officials, The Director of Education and TSC in Migori town , Masara ,stated that NG-CDF was enacted to serve the public and withdrawing it will be a big blow to ordinary Kenyans.
