The Institute of Public Finance is calling on the treasury to address duplications in government allocation to tame wastage in the 2026/27 budget. Their experts singling out duplications in the executive, an unrealistic revenue projection, and continued abuse of Article 223 as major financial loopholes that make fiscal consolidation untenable.
