Three Kenyans reach semifinals on day one of World Indoor Championships

Three Kenyan athletes qualified for the semifinals in their races on day one of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland. Noah Kibet made it to the semis in the men’s 800m, Mercy Oketch did the same in the women’s 400m, while Brian Tinega showed potential in the men’s 400m to sail through. Gladys Chepngetich and Rosemary Longisa were eliminated in the women’s 800m.
