The Islamic Relief Organization today initiated Water Projects in Garashi Village, Kilifi County which are aimed at improving and transforming the lives of more than 10,000 women in the area who have had to travel long distances to get water for their use.Some of the projects include: construction of Boreholes, installation of water tanks and solar-powered pumps which now ensures easy access to clean water, opening new avenues of development and making women central pillars of their families’ success.
