Senior Officials of the Nairobi Hospital have applied to have High Court Judge Professor Nixon Sifuna recuse himself in a case pitting two factions fighting for the control of one of the biggest hospitals in Kenya. The officials through their counsel Peter Wanyama accused the court of bias when it declined to postpone the proceedings after purging contempt of court against one faction. And as Ruth Wamboi reports, the proceeding was temporarily halted following an altercation between lawyers for the feuding factions.
