The United Democratic Alliance has resolved to conduct grassroots elections in four phases this year. This a meeting of top party officials chaired by the President and his Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. The first phase slated for 26th this month will cover seven counties including Nairobi, while phase two covering among others Mombasa and Uasin Gishu is set for 22nd June. Both Phases three and four will be held on 10th and 24th August. Kenya Revenue Authority chairperson Anthony Mwaura will chair the party’s national elections board that will oversee the exercise.
