United opposition wants the November by-elections audited

    A section of leaders allied to the United opposition says they will resort to private prosecution of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission officials over what they say are irregularities witnessed during the recently concluded by-elections. The leaders led by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K’s Eugene Wamalwa and the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also accused the government of trying to divide the opposition vowing to remain united in their bid to unseat president William Ruto in 2027.
