The U.S. calls for a review of the US-Uganda security ties

The chairperson of the us senate foreign relations committee is calling for a re-evaluation of relations with Uganda. This follows comments made on X by President Museveni’s 48-year-old son, who accused American embassy officials in Kampala of helping stage the kidnapping of opposition leader Bobi Wine, threatening to freeze military cooperation.
