A family in Utawala, Nairobi county is pleading for assistance to save the life of their kin who needs 12 million shillings for a bone marrow transplant surgical procedure in India. The 19-year-old Ned Gori was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia shortly after birth. His condition has robbed him of a normal childhood and placed a heavy financial and emotional toll on his mother, who has been the sole caregiver following the killing of his father shortly after he was diagnosed with the condition.
