The county government of Mombasa in partnership with a Swiss-based foundation that deals with cases of malnutrition, has launched a campaign dubbed Vegetable for All in five counties. The campaign is aimed enhancing awareness on consumption of vegetables to improve nutrition. Speaking during the launch of the program in Jomvu constituency, the project manager Denis Abri said they target to reach 1.1 million people by 2026 starting with Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Nakuru and Mombasa. The campaign will focus on reaching families with children under the age of 12 years who are low income earners.
