Voter registration is ongoing across Kenya as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) continues the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise at all Huduma Centres and IEBC offices nationwide. The exercise aims to increase participation ahead of the 2027 General Election.
IEBC Commissioner Prof. Francis Odhiambo has urged eligible Kenyans, especially the youth, to take advantage of the registration period before the April 28 deadline. The commission has confirmed that the mass registration phase will not be extended due to tight election preparations.
