Many youths from pastoral areas have beaten the odds by embracing the Technical, Vocational Education and Training [TVETS].
Initially many residents in the North Rift region had a bad notion, attitude, myths and misconceptions that TVETs are reversed for failures.
But now, the rejected stone is slowly being accepted, thanks to the campaign by the Government and various organizations.
Many youths who were engaged in retrogressive practices have changed their perceptions and enrolling in the TVETS to gain youth entrepreneurship and life skills development.
Various TVETS opened in the area will be a game changer in the region known for banditry and cattle rustling activities.
The technical institutes will be an answer to the retrogressive practices of banditry and cattle rustling activities as youths who have been the main actors will find alternative livelihoods from the acquired skills from the institutions. #northrift #ntvnews #nation #kenya #kenyanews #countygovernment
