The Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife through the State Department for Wildlife and Kenya Wildlife Service has commenced a national verification and payment exercise for Human Wildlife Conflict compensation claims. Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano says that 10 million shillings has so far been disbursed to the beneficiaries with 804 pending claims to be handled soon. Timothy Kipnusu reports
