More than 200 domestic animals have been vaccinated against rabies in Homa Bay County as part of the activities to mark World Rabies Day. The exercise, led by Ripple Effect Kenya in partnership with the State Department of Livestock development, targeted dogs, cats, and donkeys — the animals mostly associated with spreading the deadly virus.
