The youth in Msambweni, Kwale county, are being empowered to embrace culture as a means of fostering peace and moulding characters. WeWorld, an organization spearheading this initiative, is focused on guiding the youth towards embracing traditional values to discourage them from joining disruptive groups in the community. During the meeting, elders and local leaders stressed the importance of steering the youth away from harmful influences that cause disharmony in the society.
