Youths encouraged to join technical institutions to sharpen their skills

Residents of Turkana county and Refugees in the Kakuma camp are set to benefit from a training spearheaded by GIZ in collaboration with Turkana county government.The training focuses on ways to start a business and development among other ventures. The head of the project at the GIZ Corporation in Kakuma Camp, Gertraud Suhren said the initiative is aimed at addressing unemployment in the county and empower locals in the region.
